Excited For My Weekend!

Tonight, I will relax, clean my living space, and write a grant application. If I'm not too tired, I'd also like to spend a bit of time working on my new novel. The working title is Eat Pray Go Fuck Yourself, but I think this will change. I'm also considering self-publishing my first book. A co-worker did something similar for an erotica filled romance that she wrote (awkward water cooler conversation) and while she still has a day job, at least she proudly put herself out there - but not in public spaces because she basically wrote pornography.

Tomorrow, I'm heading off early in the morning to watch my sister's first professional fight. She's been training for Mixed Martial Arts, Boxing, Cage-fighting, and Kicking Your Ass and this will be the first time she competes. While it'll be difficult watching my little sister take hits, I'm gearing up for some awesome people-watching at this thing. I am working up to fulfill my sisterly duties in a Mickey-to-Rocky Balboa capacity. I mostly want to squirt water in her face and tell her she's a bum. It's my dream.

In other interesting co-worker news, one of our properties has a bundle of abandoned kittens in it that desperately need homes and love. . .so I am considering adopting a pair. Bad idea? Name suggestions?
