Mawiage. Mawiage is what bwings us togevvahh

I need to write my own vows. I'm told between 300-400 words is about right. I was also told we're not reading them in in Beavis and Butthead voices, which I thought would be cute. Ok, fine. I've been working on it all morning.

"Four score and seven years ago"

No, that's no good

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times"

Nope, not fitting

"I have a dream"

Nah

"I'm a little teapot"

Getting closer. . .

Through this process, I can see how lucky I am. Marriage is a right denied to certain minorities and I don't take that lightly. Why we even have a system where the majority gets to vote on the rights of a minority group should be re-examined. The cruelty and exclusionary reactiveness to homosexuals who are in love and want to get an awesome tax return is sad and unfortunate. I may go to a Whole Foods in North Carolina soon and apologize to every gay person I meet. I am sorry, gay Americans. When the South was a fully segregated society, defenders of the system would say things like "Stand Up For America!" and called those in favor of integration communists and anti-democracy. Clearly, this civil rights battle is going to be one of those that we'll all be ashamed of in the future, AGAIN.
