The Fifth Night of Hanukkah! Already!

Hard to believe it's almost 2013, right? I'm going to spend the waning days of the year staring lovingly at my new family member and her sisters:

Awwwwwwwww!

Nyawwwwwwww!!!!

As the year winds down, I have much reflecting to do. I met my husband in January and we were married by May. The Social Security Administration has not responded to my Facebook request for a name change, so I'm going to try to do that in 2013. I'm considering making New Year's Resolutions - but I always like to make sure they're achievable. Here's what I'm working with so far:

1) Get a puppy.
2) Go to Italy in February with my husband.
3) Gain and then lose 2 pounds.

I got this one in the bag. Puppies have arrived and we meet her the first weekend in January and she comes home at the end of February. Our tickets to Italy are already booked and we're hoping to swing Croatia in the same trip. While I'm excited, most of my relationships tend to end after traveling together. Unfortunately for the dude I married, I told him that we're never getting divorced and the only way out of this marriage is death. There are only two things that warrant ending things, as far as I'm concerned, and he's aware of this short list: 1) Getting indicted; or 2) Having an affair. Everything else we can reconcile. Losing two pounds is a cinch, but keeping it off is impossible. . .

We're still working on new puppy names. We've got Leona Puppsley (because she's a bitch!) or Oprah. Suggestions welcome.
